Patience is not only a virtue, it is the basis of wisdom.

In this world of instant everything we have clearly forgotten that patience is an essential tenet.

Our Mide’ teaching from our youth inculcated the skills of observation in nature… to patiently observe, then delve deeper into what first appeared on the surface. First we saw the color and shape, then the leaf itself, peering deeper we discovered the veins and texture, and at last discovered its purpose to the tree. It was the the root system for the nutrients from the sky, as were the tree roots the nutrients of the earth.

We see. We study. We discover… and We become wiser.
